2017 Mitsubishi Outlander SE vs. SEL

Since its debut the Mitsubishi Outlander has been recognized for its strong overall value, power and capability. Where it shines is its spacious cabin, generous array of features and smooth handling. From bumping country roads to noisy highways, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander keeps the cabin quiet and passengers comfortable. Choose from four trims, each with its own wide variety of premium features. Even the entry-level ES is equipped with a generous selection. Or move up to the SE or SEL for even more high-tech entertainment and convenience features.

Both the SE and SEL models are standard with a powerful 166-hp, 2.0-liter engine paired with a CVT under the hood. Front-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is optional. Inside the cabin, both models feature three rows with folding seats. In fact, the second-row of seats are 60/40-split folding and slide and recline. The third-row seats split 50/50.

With that said, the most significant difference between the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander SE and SEL are the features available. The SE is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch display, satellite radio, body-colored side mirrors with integrated turn signals, keyless ignition and entry, a six-speaker sound system and much more. Moving up to the SEL model carries over all the features from the SE and adds roof rails, automatic wipers, leather upholstery and a gloss-black interior trim.

It gets even better because the SEL model is available with features not offered on the other trims. Choose from the Premium package with a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system or SEL Touring package with a 360-degree parking camera system.
