A 148-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the ES model, while the SEL and above have a 168-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood. Moving up in trim not only adds a more powerful engine, but equips the Outlander Sport with even more features.

Standard features on all 2017 Outlander Sport models includes cruise control, heated mirrors, remote locking and unlocking, Bluetooth, a four-speaker audio system and much more. For the ES model, a five-speed manual transmission is standard, but a CVT is optional. Moving up to the SE carries over all the features from the ES and adds foglights, keyless entry and ignition, a rearview camera, heated front seats, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, six-speaker audio system and a satellite radio

For those looking for even more premium features, there is the SEL model. This carries all the features from the previous trims and adds a variety of its own. Standard features include automatic headlights, power-folding mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic wipers, leather upholstery and much more.
